Happy Holidays

The Al-Vita team wishes all our patients, their families, our staff and everyone who works with us a happy holiday season and a good new year.

At Quinta da Ouriva the season is marked by events for the people we care for and for the people who do the caring: the Christmas Party for Al-Vita Patients, an afternoon of entertainment and surprises, and the Al-Vita Christmas Dinner for staff and their companions. Company and leisure are not a December extra: they are among the services the Convalescence Unit and the Medium-Term and Rehabilitation Unit provide every day of the year.

Throughout the holidays the unit runs as usual — daily medical care, permanent nursing care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychosocial support, hygiene, comfort and meals — delivered by the same multidisciplinary team that follows each patient through their stay.

To everyone who trusted us with the care of a relative this year, thank you. The root of our name means «for Life», and that is the commitment we carry into the year ahead.
